There are currently 3,651,620 UK companies potentially eligible for the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS). One of the stipulations of the scheme is that company turnover is less than £45m, but if a company is part of a group, the other group companies’ turnover must be considered towards the the £45m limit. We used DueDil’s Business Information Graph to look at how many companies are part of a group structure. Almost 10% of the 3.6m eligible companies have parents or subsidiaries and could be impacted by this stipulation.
